1:17 A storm rolls in Fierce winds Driving rain 3:24 I'm awake I don't know why Roll over Try to sleep Forget it Grab my phone Facebook Twitter Emails 4:15 Try to go back to sleep Toss and turn 5:30 BRRRRRNNNNNNGGGGG It's going to be a long day!
I feel you! I was up at 2 and then went back to sleep for only 45 min...headache and much needed coffee this morning! Hope it is better than you think it will be!
Clever structure for your slice. I can feel your pain even more when I think about the times... hope today passes quickly and you can get to bed early tonight.
I awoke at 2:00 a.m. and, of course, could not return to sleep. This happens often. I feel your restlessness and sense the dreaded exhaustion in the day ahead.

I love this! By posting the times, we really get a sense of your sleeplessness. Very nice.

ReplyDeleteWrote my slice about the same thing. I'm looking forward to a 1:00 nap.

ReplyDeleteYikes! I hate nights like this! I hope you slept well last night!
ReplyDeletePhyllis,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lisa. The structure and especially the insertion of the time hooked me in and kept it moving!
